Elastic Hammocks

Hennessy Ultralight Backpacker A-Sym Hammock

This hammock comes in two main pieces: a hammock with a sewn-in netting and a tarpaulin that hangs over the hammock. The tarpaulin clips onto the outer cables lengthways whilst two black cords secure the tarpaulin widthways. The hammock also has two cords that secure, and expand it widthways. These differ slightly from the tarp's cords as the hammock cords are elasticised. The reason for using elastic cords for the hammock is to compensate for the side to side rocking of the hammock when it is in use.

Designed for extreme wet jungle climates from camouflage waterproof fabric. The dark mosquito netting is easy to see out of with a heavy duty zipper that you can open from inside or outside. The elastic cords keep the mosquito netting away from your face and body.
